Playing games is one of my family’s favorite ways to spend quality time together. Over the years we have tested out numerous ones and now we have a long list of favorites. From toddler to teen and everything in between, this list is sure to have something you and your kids will enjoy.
I’ve tried to divide the games into age categories to make it easier for you. Of course, many of these games can be played by a wide range of ages and abilities so make sure to scroll through the whole list.

Party Games
The great thing about most party games is that you often don’t need more than a deck of cards or a random die. Gather a group of friends together and try out some of these.
- Bible Taboo
- Kemps (You need a regular deck of cards.)
- Catch Phrase
- Mennonite Madness (You need one die.)
- Spoons (You need a regular deck of cards.)

I’ve added Civitas to my Christmas list this year. It looks like a fun and educational game to play with my older kids. It’s a card game about different forms of government. I love having fun and learning at the same time!
My family is always looking for new games to play so leave a comment and let me know your favorite family games.
