The 2019-2020 school year is almost over and here I am finally sharing what curriculum we used this homeschool year. Actually, our homeschool curriculum choices changed a bit from what I originally shared over on YouTube. Here is what we ended up using (or you can watch me talk about our changes in my Homeschool High School Changes video.)

Quick question! I noticed BJU offers physical science for 9th grade. Was there a particular reason for choosing Biology for 9th grade? We will be using BJU Distance Learning for the high school years. Thanks!

I only require my kids to take 3 years of high school science so we started with biology (then chemistry and physics).

Hi Janelle :). Why are you awarding 1/2 credit for Starting Points? It is very full and if it is completed the Quines are recommending 2-3 credits. Are you doing only a portion for Biblical Worldview? Thanks! -Katrina

Great question! You are correct that if the entire course is done that several high school credits can be given. We did portions of Starting Points but not the entire thing. I gave my daughter 1/2 credit towards English and 1/2 towards Biblical Worldview elective. It’s an excellent curriculum but my daughter had some other things she wanted to take as well and I didn’t want to overload her. Hope that helps!
