Here’s a look at the courses my senior will be taking this upcoming school year. I’ve listed the course title that will go on her transcript along with the credit amount and the curriculum she will be using.
English

- Curriculum: I’m creating a unique literature course for my daughter. She’ll be reading the books below along with other assignments and projects that I am putting together.

Electives
- Course Title: Culinary Arts
- Credit: .5
- Curriculum: I will be creating this unique elective course for my teen. It will cover food safety and sanitation, food preparation and preservation, meal planning and budgeting, and cooking for food allergies and other dietary needs. Her final project will be putting together a recipe box or binder of recipes she has made (and enjoyed). We will be using free resources from the library and online plus those that we already own.

Other Dual Enrollment Classes
She will also be taking several dual enrollment classes (from Faith Baptist Bible College) in the spring. Spring 2025 classes have not been posted (as of July 2024) so we don’t yet know which ones she will be taking.
